SLAVES AND MASTERS
Slaves, obey your earthly masters with RESPECT and fear, and with SINCERITY OF HEART, just as you would obey Christ. Obey them not only to win their favor when their eye is on you, but like SLAVES OF CHRIST, DOING THE WILL OF GOD FROM YOUR HEART. Serve WHOLEHEARTEDLY, as if you were serving The Lord, not men, because you know that the Lord will reward everyone for whatever good he does, whether he is slave or free. Ephesians 6:5-8 NIV
ASK THE LORD WHAT HE WOULD HAVE YOU DO FOR HIM
I contact my family regularly, because relationships require time and effort. I usually end my visits by asking if they need anything I can help with. When conversing with The Lord, I ask nothing less. I ask Him to show me the opportunities He gives me to witness for Him. In the course of a normal day, I am in contact with family, friends, and strangers. Do they see my Lord when they look at me? Do I reflect my Lord's heart?
SERVING THE LORD
If you are called by The Holy Spirit to use your skills, experience, and knowledge to serve your brother, do it as serving The Lord, Himself. Give of yourself as to The Lord.
